There will always be copycats my friend. Someone could so easily mistake one for the other but it all comes down to taste.

Having had and still have both I can say they really are to very different looking cigars to look at, the wrapper on the 777 is almost as black as laquer and they taste completely different

I have not had one, but I have read lots of good things about them. I will try one sooner or later.

I have had both. Both are excellent smokes, even though we do not currently sell the J. Fuego brand. Illusione are made in the Raices Cubanas factory in Honduras and Jesus Feugo has his own factory where he makes his stuff as well as Defiance for Xikar. Dion can elaborate a bit more I'm sure.

Never had a 777, but the 68 (and the rest of the line) is great. Looks like I need to add the 777 to the hit list.

I meet Mr. Fuego this past weekend. After talking to him about cigars, how long his family has been in the cigar busniess, how much pride he takes in what he does etc... I promise you he is not trying to ride anybodies coat tails! And if you have not smoked one of his cigars get out there and find one!

J. Fuego does amazing work. I've been touting the Gran Reserva Corojo No. 1 ever since I smoked my first one a couple years ago, and the Criollo ain't bad either. Haven't had the 777, but the Defiance was good, and the Delirium blew my mind.

Yep, illusion all the way. The first time I saw the 777 I thought the design was BS.
