Clensing your palette - smoking two in a row
So here is something I am curious about. Many times at night if I have a couple of hours free time I will smoke one cigar - finish it - and then want to smoke a 2nd.
But occasionally depending on the two smokes - the flavors dont mix very well. What I am curious about is what techniques (if any) do you use inbetween smokes so that you can enjoy the unique flavor of each without any crossover? j |

Lemon or lime water. Freshly squeezed that is.

Brushing your teeth works but a lot of times it is not feasable because lets face it who carries a toothbrush in their backpocket....
A shot of cognac, brandy, single malt works... Never heard to lemon/lime but being I like both I might try it |

Along the citrus line, why not some orange juice (readily available in a bar), vodka optional?

If I really must, Diet Pepsi Max, or plain Diet Pepsi, or Seltzer, or... oh what the hell, just light up!

It is the citric acid is what acts as the cleansing agent. Lemons and Limes have the one of the highest concentrations. Other fruits you can try are oranges and grapefruit. BTW eating a lemon wedges will also help take away the fishy taste of seafood and garlic or at least that is what I have experienced.

Surprised nobody mentioned just waiting. I don't like lighting one after the other personally - at least a 15-20 minute break between gives you time to reflect on what you just smoked. Lime/Lemon water works a treat. So does sugar.
Or try just eating something small, like a handful of nuts. |
