Anybody else tried Monte Peruvian Short Smoke?

Here is what it looks like:

I've only had one; It was part of a bomb. I wish I could remember who bequeathed it upon me, because I really liked it. I don't know if there is an ISOM version, but I know you can get them on JR Cigars.com.

Has anybody else tried them?

Looks like a tasty smoke, and a cool size! Can you only get them from JR?

I don't know. I sent Smokinj a PM earlier today, asking him where he got them. I will post here when I get a reply. It would be nice to just get a few, instead of a whole box.

In my opinion you can't go wrong with this cigar---One of my favorite winter smokes that I need to pick up. You can also bid on them (if available for bid) and get a couple of boxes at a good price. J R Cigars--The Habano wrapper (maddy) are a little fuller than the EMS but are still very good. The one in your pictures is the Buena Fortuna 5 X 47 and is the EMS wrapper.

I have not seen them in the Chicago B&M's.

It is so funny that you mention this cigar, my fathers friend gave him one of these and since he does not smoke cigars he passed it on to me. Now at first he thought it was an isom but then I pointed out the obvious features that mark it as a Dominican product. Anyway I too wondered where these came from etc, thanks for clearing it up!
