HAH! Stinky Solution

ok so about a year ago, I posted for some help in getting rid of the ash cement that formed in the bottom of my limited edition stinky ashtray, a thread that ended up with me having to lay the smackdown on my wife Kaybee for complaining about my ashtray...

I had finally SCRUBBED the thing clean....scratched the living hell out of my ashtray and I only used a kitchen scrubbie....

so I was talking to a friend of mine about the problem, and turned out he had the same problem...

and his solution was...

CLR rust remover!!!

and it works, eats the cement right off of it seeing as how the ashes are mostly minerals like magnesium and phosphorus...

clean as a whistle.

Learn from my trials and if you have an outside stinky you will be much happier (especially when it comes time to clean it)

I know this works for things that were burnt--If you take an old cloth and the ashes from the cigars (just leave in stinky tray) add some water to a rag and swirl the damp rag and ashes to make a sludge)--now use the sledge to clean the tray--I'll make sure and try it on my Stink first--Will let you know later!

This does work--I remembered reading or hearing somewhere that the nicotine in the ash (I think) is what cuts through all the crap left by your smokes. My pictures are not very good (cell) but you can see my reflection--try it you will not regret it.
I also took a very, very small about of Pam (oil) and rubbed it in after I dried the tray VERY WELL--- I then used a Terry Cloth towel to buff it.
