You just put your lips together and blow. Well, that and do a weird thing with your tongue where you kind of plant the tip and push the back out and quickly draw it back...

Ya know, I think this is best left to Tom and Dustin to explain. I think the penal code calls it something else, but the principle is the same.

Hell, it took me about 2 years to learn to make smoke rings and it was all about practice.

Take a big mouthful of smoke.....

Purse your lips (top lip curled up, bottom lip curled down), open your mouth to about 50% of max. potential and make an "o" sound in the back of your throat. The "o" sound should sound like the "o" in "otter".

Or, pucker up, make a small round opening with your lips and tap one of your cheeks rapidly.


In either case, practice, practice, practice.....

I almost got it !

Al I do is make an O shape with my mouth, and open and close my jaw slightly. As you close the jaw, air is pushed out. I know there are a few ways of duing it, but try them all untill you get some success, then keep practicing the way that works best for you.
