Fuente Anejo

I was visiting my son on Atlanta for Thanksgiving and picked up a couple of these Reserva xtra viejo maduros at his local B&M. I know they're usually hard to find. What should I expect from them? Should I let them rest for a while?

You should send them to me. I'll test them and let you know when they're ready!

Squid was just disappointed in how few boxes we actually received. I know this is holiday thing but still; it won't take us but a few days to sell out of these. I was hoping to have some available until about mid-December. {sigh}

I smoked a "49" from this year's allotment and it was definitely ready to smoke. Good right off the truck in this case.

I've found that Anejos are better fresh. I smoked my last two from last year's bunch and they were absolutely tasteless. They year of aging wasn't very kind. Smoke 'em up.
