Wow. I did not have that experience with any of the ones I tried the first time around. I may have had one with a bad wrapper, but that sort of thing happens.

Sorry to hear that there were so many problems. These really were good tasting cigars. It will be interesting to see what condition this new batch shows up in.

Man, I just scooped up (3) fiver packs of each color. Ridiculously cheap. The website states $19.95 or so but I called them and they are now a whopping $7.99 per fiver. The guy there says he has plenty of full boxes left and I told him that I'll order one if the picking is ripe. Keep ya informed!!!

There is no new batch. The ones on that site are the left overs, they will not be produced again.

Say folks I just received my LIVE cigars on next day air FREE SHIPPING. I'ma smoke one from each batch and letcha know how these fellas taste. From what I can tell construction looks normal, no cracks or shoddy construction issues that everyone was talking about earlier in other threads. Look for the update...

I know that these are closeouts. What I meant is that it would be a new batch for me - the "old" batch was the stuff I got this past summer and had few if any problems with. I'm wondering if I got the rollers on a good day while others got cigars from rollers on a bad day. The order I placed will be a new batch for my collection and I can see if any of them exhibit the problems folks talked about here.

Thanks for posting the heads up on the pricing, Mike. I just emailed the folks who are selling this and asked for the same pricing on the boxes - should cut my expense in half. Hopefully they will honor it as they have not yet shipped and won't until Monday.

The box prices are "as-is" Jim. Only on the fiver packs are this price. But talk to them on the phone and see if you can cut a "backroom" deal. My guess and business expertise tell me they got these things cheap!!!!!!!

Well, I've finally smoked all 3 variations of the LIVE cigar and construction was great but something went awry after the 3rd green one I had. I would neither recommend this smoke nor not recommend it. Although, I will finish off my supply as I need more time to come to the very best conclusion as to why more folks didn't buy these smokes.

Well, Mike & I did the "Red Label" on our Mind of Men Podcast this past week, and wouldn't you know it - Mike's cigar pretty much unraveled and became totally unsmokable with about 3 inches or so to go.

So, now I can't say that I have never had a problem with these. Too bad. That was the first one out of maybe 15 I have smoked. Everyone gets a freebie, so I'll overlook it this time, but any more problems and I will have to retract some of the nice things I said about the stick on the board here.

Too bad as it is a good tasting smoke.

If it unraveled it was light on the wrong end. I know its a pain in the a$$ but some of the bands are on upside down, and if you light the wrong end that will happen ever time.
