Favorite drink & smoke pairings

I tried to find an existing thread on this...but it turns out we use the work "drink" A LOT in this forum...no luck.

Here's the question though--what are your favorite pairings for drinks & cigars. Coffee, wine, beer, soda...water. The more specific the better. Would love to know what drinks and smokes pair up well.

I like to pair my cigars with VSOP Brandy. If its a maduro maybe a stout beer.

Rum goes very well with cigars...try Pampero Anniversario, Flor de cana Centanario, or Ron Zacapa. All have a wonderful flavor and pair beautifully with just about any cigar. Drink it room temperature and straight...Salute!!

If you like fullbody cigars, I recommend Ron Zacapa 23y.

It used to be different, but for the past five or six years the only cigar to drink pairing that Squid® finds acceptable is with different coffees.

Flor de cana Centanario, or a nice cuban coffee or espresso, so tasty

I like to have black coffee with my cigars. Maybe a bit of bourbon.

If I have a cigar that I don't like the taste of or if the taste that lingers isn't the greatest, I usually have a bit of koolaid.

The last two times I was in my local shop I had a Perdomo Habano Connecticut with an A&W cream soda. That was amazing, I couldn't believe how much I liked it. It was 10x better than any coffee pairing that I've ever done, seriously if you have the chance try it. Just get cream soda with any cigar using a Connecticut wrapper.

I drink beer with most of my smokes if I am smoking after work. For the most part I smoke alot when I am having morning coffee. The occasional scotch doesnt hurt either, three of my favorite pairings

Surprised I haven't seen any wine pairings. I love a full (red) sin or cab with a stick. Just tend to sip them too fast while smoking...has led to some wobbly walks back inside.

I had some Irish Creme last night, and got thinking to myself that that might be a good pairing with a good maduro. I'm going to try it next time.

I do like a good cab or port with my smokes.. but it's single malt about 90% of the time.

My favorite is a Havana Club Barrel Proof Rum with a good full bodied and full flavored cigar.

Hmm. A couple of pairings I've tried are:

Warsteiner beer with Puros Indios double maduro. Pretty good.

Jockamo IPA with 5 Vegas Serie A. Very good. The IPA really made the maduro flavors pop.
