Ok.. these things are fantastic.. to hell with the salt test, you could calibrate your hygrometer to these things.. Now I know why everyone here recommends beads.

I got two 65's and set them up last night.. one went in a box that already had a calibrated digi and after a bit I came back and it was right at 65.

I had just ordered two more digi's, so this morning when I finished calibrating those, I moved them into their respective boxes.. the other one with the puck, again within the hour was at 65..

I wanted to try them out before buying two more for my 250 box, and i would DEFINATELY recommend..

Mark got these badboys out real quick too.. Ordered Monday, had them by Wednesday.. Thanks Mark.

I got to check that out. I just bought a digi and seems that I'm not running at 70 like I thought I was.

luckily for me, it was almost perfectly calibrated (one off, low --- reads 74 in salt test -- but then again, the humidor read 65 last night, so perhaps it is 100% accurate).

This time I decided to get two of these:

I like that they are able to be calibrated.. I assume you salt tested, but if not, keep in mind some digi's are WAY off..

Man they are incredible. I only use the Puck and swapped out all my humidifiers with the beads.

I've been using the Boveda pack, plus a humi-care gel crystal jar for the last 8 months or so...great results. The Boveda at 65, the jar at 70...balances at about 67 consistently and for a long time. Might try the beads next time. The boveda packs are here:

You can't beat the puck! I own one and for some reason it seems to work better than the beads I have in bags!

I picked one up from Walmart to test it.. It took over a week for it to get up to 72 in the salt test environment.
