I forgot to mention the same thing in my above post,,,age these suckers for a few months and they are really good. I hardly ever smoke a cigar fresh from an order as they aren't stable enough from the trip to my humidor. Let them settle in for a few weeks before lighting one up ( because I know how we are with new cigars,,we just have to taste one ) When I get an order in I always put them into a rotation so I can have a nice aged cigar without picking one that I just got in. I keep 4 humis going and a coolerador so I have a 4 month humi, 8 month, 12 month and over a year humi. Keeps me from tearing thru my cigars in my humis,,,I always know how old each cigar is. Some smoke great at 4 months and so on.

That is true, but it seems to me that these are turning out to be either a dog rocket or a gem... no inbetween. I hope I like them, the order was backed due to the holidays so it'll be here in a week.

I'm hoping that my experience with the double maduro fusion was not an accurate representation of it's true greatness... I had a terrible burn problem and that caused it to end up burning hot and thus be horrible. I only gave it a couple days to recover from the shipping because I couldn't wait. Now I'm waiting hopefully it'll get better after some time in the humidor.

I am the same way,,as soon as cigars arrive I am all over it like a huntin dog. Just chalk the first cigar up to inventory control and when you smoke the next one ( hopefully at least 3 months later ) you will be just fine. This cigar gets better with age.

Good, I do have to say the taste of the first appx 1/4th (before it got real hot) was good, so I'll let this sucker off my mind for a few months and then I'll let my hopes back up.
