I suppose it can go either way, as some people feel keeping the cello off can help to keep the cigars better stablized. Cello will not stop tobacco bugs.

I've never had a problem with them.. to each their own.

i'll toss in my .02

i just hate opening up a humi and seeing a bunch of freaking cello. i think it looks cheap. i want to be able to appreciate what is in my humi!

but thats just me.

I personally like an LFD Double Ligero or an Oliva Serie V right out of the box. When they are aged they mellow out and lose some of that pepper and spice that I love so.

Not that they're bad when aged. Because I had so many LFD's in my humidor at one time that they did mellow out. I got some different tastes than when they are just out of the box. I just prefer a spicy stick.
