This is what Sam Leccia (maker of Nub) told me. That is why the only Nubs that are boxed pressed are the Cameroons.

YEa my local B&M Emersons got these in the other day as well. Pretty neat looking but a little crazy price wise. They are supposed to look like a gold bar. I'm not sure thats what it turned out like but its still cool looking.

Here it is next to a CAO LX2 Robusto, which is a 52 ring gauge. Clearly the odd shape contributes to the huge ring gauge quote, but it feels like about a 60 in your hands.

Got my single for $10. A few got were handed out for free as more alcohol was served, I should have waited...

I bought that Stradivarius box for cheap and it's my first (and still my only) humidor. I have around 35 cigars in there and it's about full. It keeps great humidity and seals well. They go for cheap on eBay all the time. I'm going straight from this to the wineador, no screwing around!

Unless I mis heard something, I thought they were in the twenties at my B&M. I'll check again I guess.

You probably aren't wrong. It's a limited production piece, so many feel justified in jacking the price way up. Just like with the Frankenstein cigars...

Supply and demand. Let them sit for a while and when no one buys the price will go down.

No my local B&M is great about that. I've never seen a cigar of his over MSRP. He sold his Tat Blacks under MSRP. I must have heard the guy wrong. His Opus' are usually under MSRP too.
