Okay, I am going to start by ordering some singles to sample. First off I think I will try the Don Pepin Garcia Blue and Black Labels. Does anyone know if the torpedo's vary in taste from their normal cuts? I read somewhere that it actually takes out the pepper. However I was interested in the torps this go around.

Ha ha ha that's a good one! One last thing to balance the humidor.

That's like asking how much money is enough...one more dollar.

I detected nearly no pepper in the 601 blue.

For some nice pepper and great profile, try the (already recommended) Tats'. Also I like the Joya de Nic Antano 1970 beli'. I also get some pepper and a tremendous profile from the CAO Brazilia. One of my current top three EDS.

I have been smoking the DPG Blue Imperiales (torpedo) the last couple of years, and it retains the pepper/spice typical of the rest of the line. Some others worth a try are the Tatuaje Havana VI Verocu #9, and the Tatuaje Reserva J21. The VSG line is also good, but I would stick with a Belicoso or smaller as the larger ones seem to lose their kick. The VSG Enchantment is particularly good.

I'd go with an LFD Double Ligero or an Oliva Serie V.

Try the Don Pepin My Father. I had my first one for the superbowl last week and loved it. I have my eye on a box right now.
