I buy and smoke mostly Cubans now since the Great Sales of 2008. My Vinotemp contains nothing but boxes of Habanos, and my desktop contains about 90% non-Cubans. I still love many non-Cubans, but I'm trying to discover the Habano side of things. I never found being in the U.S. much of a barrier, which is unfortunate for my wallet...

I buy NCs only because of the embargo. If it were lifted I would probably switch up to about 25% CC. There are far too many great NC smokes out there to forget about them.

NC's 97% but then I'm back in Europe for Holiday or visit, most of cigars are cubans, because one companie from cuba imports to almost whole Europe all the brands.

I smoke and buy 90% non-cuban(mainly Nicaraguan)/10% cuban now.
If you like fullbody, you will buy/smoke mainly non-cuban.

Due to the price, I smoke NC. I love Nicaraguans and Padron, more specifically. I also really enjoy Oliva V, CAO LX2, Nub Habano, and about anything Camacho. If I want a real treat I go for a Padron Anniversary of some sort. I don't feel like I'm missing anything at all. Now if someone wants to throw a bunch of CC at me, I'll definitely smoke them and let you know if my mind is changed.

I am living outside the U.S., but the cost of CC's is too high for me to smoke them much. I'll smoke freebies if offered, but can't see paying $17 to $25 a stick for a Cuban robusto. Although I like them, and can easily buy them, with Cigarbid and sale prices on the internet for NC cigars, I can get really good NCs for a fraction of the cost of a CC.

I've had the privilege to have smoked three fine specimens of Havana's finest, and while they were all good, I still think that bang/buck title goes to the domestic crowd. Perdomo, DPG, and Oliva are my current favorites, and I couldn't imagine anything from Cuba supplanting them, unless Cuba can come up with a maduro wrapper that beats Nicaraguan Habano.
