You know, I don't mind Mexican cigars or even a Puros Indios. I know, I know, I'm like one of those folks who has ranch with their pizza or who likes cement mixers at the bar. The hideous flavor that I just can't stand is that which is broadly know as *bouquet.* Give me "earthy tones" or "horse," flavor, but for the love of Pete, but ever give me a flower shop to smoke.

Only twice have I had flavors that I can honestly say repelled me.

First was that harsh ammonia flavor from a cigar that had not been aged long enough. It really is disgusting.

Second is the tar goo that comes out of some cigars. Bitter and strong. Just chuck what left of the smoke because it becomes nasty. Plus it put me into nicotine overload. My heart was racing for at least an hour after I smoked it.

Flavors that I never want in a cigar:

1. Sweaty sac
2. Grass, sorghum, alfalfa.
3. Brussels sprouts, or any vegetable period.

Outside of that, I'm pretty flexible, enjoying earthy, dark delights to light, citrus or floral flavors. Just not too heavy on the gardenia, though, Grandma. I cannot bring myself to smoke any of the Drew Estates' Acid line, though I've enjoyed the Java, Dirt, Root, Chateau Real, and La Vieja Habana lines.
