Anybody have flavors or tastes that they really don't like? Old saddle leather makes you sick? Hay and grass doesn't do it for ya? Sweat from a mangy mule's left buttock is too much for yer palette? Rose hips and Mulberry vines annoys you? < G > Post it here if there's a taste (or even an imagined taste like those CA reviewers come up with) that you don't like!

Great thread; I just have to submit my distaste for when they say, "tastes of tobacco..." Really, that's just an amazing palate there.

And yep....used to get that before I got a Vino....I found I experienced this taste you mentioned when the cigars were too moist.

Metal flavor for sure sucks,,,also a vegetal flavor like wilted lettuce. Salty comes across in some cigars like La Unica,,,other yard gars that have a taste/ smell like a leprous goat,,,sucking pure ammonia on some cigars I have had. I have had a few that tasted like burnt walnuts and then there was one that tasted like pure charcoal.

I was smoking a cigar with a friend (which I thought wasn't that bad) which he proceeded to describe as " Badly Maintained Ass". I'm pretty sure that flavor made it to the top of the list for me.

I had a Nat Sherman that was so bad that it went out the window ofter three puffs. Tasted like hay.
But the worst was Acid. It had the taste of a lolly pop on fire. Will never smoke another.
