Re: Looking for Good Mild Stogie.
Cusano 18 Double Connecticut is a great mild cigar. Like smoking butter.
Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real is also a nice one. Buttery Connecticut flavor and a little spice. Carlos Torano Casa Torano - same spiel. Just a very nice mild cigar. I'm also partial to Gisperts for a cheap mild cigar. One that doesn't get mentioned very often is Sosa. I think the Sosa is fantastic mild cigar - I strongly urge you to try one out. Sweetness and cream are predominant. For Cubans, Fonseca, Hoyo de Monterrey and Romeo y Julieta make great mild smokes. Fonseca is herby and sweet, Hoyo is woody and sweet and Romeo is woody and a little spicy. Good stuff. |

Re: Looking for Good Mild Stogie.
These are what I'd call "super mild":
-Montesino -5 Vegas Gold but they don't have too much of a robust flavor profile...just a nice, drier, crisp tobacco flavor...maybe a bit of grass. Anything with a Connecticut shade wrapper is probably going to be a good bet for mildness... -Romeo y Julieta 1875 or RyJ Reserva Real are both pretty mild too...they have a bit more flavor than the lightest of the light, but they're far from "full bodied." I think I started myself off with RyJs, so they're a good jumping-off point. Good luck! |

Re: Looking for Good Mild Stogie.
I agree 100% with Snake Hips on the Cusano 18, greatest morning smoke I 've had (still exploring) .
RP Connecticut is nice too and so is the Perdomo Champagne.

My favorite mild smoke is the Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real as mentioned before.

Re: Looking for Good Mild Stogie.
I guess I'm technically a total 5 Vegas ho, so I have to concur with the recommendation for the Gold (any size). I'm actually having a Nugget, this very instant. The Gold torpedo has been one of my compulsory mild/coffee/morning go-to smokes, but I bought some Slow-Aged Perdomos recently, and I've been mixing those into the rotation. Plus, you can get them dirt cheap on c-bid.
The "Gold Bar" boxes, of which the 5 Vegas folks seem to be so proud, they're kind of cool, but they're also kind of annoying. They look cool, but they totally screw up the stacking system in the coolerdor.

You'll be hard-pressed to find a better smoke than the Ybor City Handmade, a house blend for King Corona Cigars (King Corona Cigar Bar and Cafe) in Tampa's Ybor City. You can read a review here: Stogie Reviews: Ybor City Handmades Torpedo

Re: Looking for Good Mild Stogie.
Casa Blanca is a great mild smoke, my personal favorite when it comes to mildness.
I get cinnamon when I'm smoking them, and I have a hard time picking up flavors in cigars, so they must be cinnamony. ![]() |

Re: Looking for Good Mild Stogie.
As mentioned before. Taboo makes a nice mild smoke. CAO Gold, CAO Criollo, Casa Torano, and 5 Vegas Gold are all nice smokes.

Re: Looking for Good Mild Stogie.
a lot of people don't consider this a mild smoke, but I agree with you. For "my" mild, it's perfect.

Re: Looking for Good Mild Stogie.
Also, I almost forgot - definitely try the Cuesta-Rey Centro Fino Sun Grown. Awesome mild cigar if you can afford it; it's a treat when you can.
