A Poll: Trips To Your Local B&M

Squid® is pretty much of a home-body... I don't go out very often to the B&M's at all. Ask the Houston crown, most of them have never even seen me in person. They're lucky! HAW! <G>

I find I go less and less. There are so many new cigars coming out and I am smoking so many different ones, that it is hard to find a B&M that keeps up with the new brand variety. I shop at one of the biggest volume shops around and he just does not have the shelf space to keep adding the new cigar from all these brands that seem to be coming up with a new flavor every month.

I also live in California where taxes are high, and cost of buisness is high. Let's face it... times are tough. Why pay for one stick what I can often pick up a 5-pack for online?

It's just a couple blocks from the house so I would stop when ever the urge would strike, but since the owner got busted for trying to knock of his wife guess I'll have to find another one to frequent as I just can't support that.

I go to my B&M about three times a week, sometimes just two. Of course, I'm on their payroll, but still...

I would stop at the Tucson store every now and then. I was shocked when I heard this news. I also will no longer go there.

Like sofaman, my nearest B&M is quite distant...a bit over two hours. As a result, I get all of my cigars through trades or online.

If only I had a B&M on Kauai I would go at least twice a week. I do enjoy going to others when Im traveling.

I'm with you there except I go once a week. I don't smoke in the house and it is Freakin Cold in my man cave during the winter. It's nice to go somewhere sit down in the warmth and enjoy a good cigar, a movie or good conversation with other cigar smokers. Interesting though, that nobody that I have talked to so far have heard of Puff.com. I'll keep trying to spread the word.

I may slow down once it finally warms up. But then again, the more people I meet, probably not. I've only gone for the past three weekends now and have found two more smokes that will be going into my rotation and one special occasion cigar.

I used to visit my local B&M's quite often when I first started down this path. I live in a very anti smoking province and since you can't smoke in the smoking lounges here anymore I would say that I go about twice a year.

I said once a week , but since my BM now carries the entire Oliva maddie line and my favorite cocktail, Yoohoo, I'll be there more often. Doesn't hurt that she priced the singles at box price

4-5 times a week at least. Especially in the winter. I refuse to stand in my garage and freeze to have a cigar. I am very fortunate to have a great B&M close to me and right on the way home from work. The owner has installed a nice flat panel HDTV, DVD player, satelite TV, free coffee, and comfy couches and chairs. Always a lot of BOTLs in there enjoying a stogie from his large selection. Most of the guys there refer to it as our "Clubhouse".

I go about once a week. I just found a new one that's 20 minutes away , which is close for me that has a nice lounge with a couple flat screen HDTV's . And plenty of people there to chat with. I just had my first cigar in that particular b&m yesterday . Enjoyed a nice RP Edge and watched the celtics game.
