Anyone else love Indian Tabac Maduro Super Fuerte?

Gotta say, I got one of these a while back in a sampler special and was really surprised at how good it was. A bit sweet and chocolately, yet it has that nicaraguan strength. I had gotten another couple in a different sampler a short while after and was hooked. Been loving them since. I know they're made by Rockey Patel and I'm finding I'm a big fan of Patel's cigars. I love the Edge and the Double Maduro. Actually, the only Patel's I don't like are the vintage as I've found them to be too mild and bland.

So I just got my first box of Indian Tabac Toro Maduro Super Fuerte's in today. They're generally $59.99 for a box of 25 which is dirt cheap to begin with. But add to that I got 5 free with my purchase from AtlanticCigar that comes out to $2 a stick! And I now see CigarsInternational has a special where you get 35 at $67.95 which makes them a nickel even cheaper. Darn good sticks, and at an incredible price. Gotta say though... I think the band is pretty ugly looking.

Good sticks and you think those are good try FIRE by Indian Tabac (RP) as well. These can be had for cheap and they are as good as any $4-$8 cigar out there.

I have 3 from PIFs and a blind sampler purchase sitting in my humi. I've been looking forward to trying one. Perhaps I'll light one up tomorrow. Thanks for the push.

Re: Anyone else love Indian Tabac Maduro Super Fuerte?

I really like the taste of them. I bought a box of the box press coronas from Atlantic about three years ago and am just about through with the box. The main issue I have had is a very tight draw. Of the 17-18 I have smoked, only 2-3 have had good draws. The rest I have had to drawpoker to be able to smoke them.

Because of this I will never buy them again, in spite of the good taste.

I still have four left in my humi from five years ago. I smoke them every once and a while. Nice smoke.

I really like the ITSF maduros. I have only a few left and I should really stock up. Great bargain smoke.

Just a heads up, I buy the box pressed Toro's and the draw has been perfect on every single one. It reminds me of Padron's in that sense - ie. a nicely box pressed cigar with a perfect draw. Try the toro size if that size is ok with you. And just like you, tight draw is something that can really scare me away from a brand (every Fonseca I've had has had a tight draw).

Re: Anyone else love Indian Tabac Maduro Super Fuerte?

I will always say how these cigars are a good smoke for the price. I have sliped down that "other" slope but will always have a few of these in one of my Humis. I too like the box pressed Toros. They are just a good cigar. Others may find them to be crap....but......

THEY ARE WRONG

I'm definitely a fan as well. I'm a big maduro fan and these are right up my alley. I have to disagree about the band though. I think it's pretty cool Rocky was able to use the Indian Motorcycle logo on these. But who cares? You don't smoke the band anyway.

It's probably been two years since I've smoked one of these. Not because I don't like them, but I'm always trying new things and can't keep everything in stock here... <G>

Heh, I was like that for a while. Especially during the stage where I was trying to find unique cigars that didn't taste like all the others out there. Eventually I hit upon a few favorites - those being primarily:

Bolivar Cofradia Oscuro 6x54
Padron 4000 Maduro
Rockey Patel The Edge Toro Maduro
St. Luis Rey Serie G Maduro
Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro Toro

I have a bunch of others I really like/love but those there are my top ones. Ever since getting past two or three favorites I've found I am now ordering my primary 5-8 top cigars rather than experimenting constantly - unless I come across deals too darn good to pass up of course!

But, I've discovered I'm a Maduro whore lol - can't ya tell? .

Re: Anyone else love Indian Tabac Maduro Super Fuerte?

I love all Indian tabac Super Fuertes. I have a box worth of natural Robustos that are aging right now...I can't wait until they hit that perfect point.

That was the cigar that got me hooked on Indian Tabac...a Maduro Super Fuerte.
