Q: Tres Siglos, Dos Vitolas

Smoked a Gran Habano 3 Siglos Torpedo (6 1/8 x 56) tonight and I found it somewhat different in flavor than the Gran Corona (6 x 44) I have smoked recently. The bigger vitola seemed simpler.
The torpedo had mainly earthy tobacco taste while the Gran Corona seemed to have more spice (cinnamon and nutmeg), cedar notes, as well as a longer finish.
I have heard people share in other threads (regarding DPGs) that the smaller vitolas have stronger flavor. Was this the case for my 3 Siglos experience, or do my torpedos just need to age?
