I'm already an addict!!

I started smoking cigars about 2 months ago when I quit smoking cigarettes. My fiance told me I can't smoke cigarettes but I can smoke cigars so that's how it all started. She bought me a small humidor (about a 30 count) for valentines day and it's now filled to the brim. Ever since I started researching how to set up a humidor properly I became addicted to the hobby and now all I think about is a bigger humidor and more cigars. Is this normal and do they make a medication for this disease?

same here ... I stopped smoking cigerettes July 4th last year ... then was smoking about two (cheep flavored) cigars a day for about a month, now my limit is two a week. I started buying a little better cigars and enjoy them a lot more then when I started. My friend told me I am growing up ...

I smoke at least 1 nightly. Thats the minimum for me. I cant unwind without having at least 1.

Well since I can't smoke inside my house (fiance won't let me) I am only smoking at work right now because it is just too damn cold to sit outside and enjoy a cigar. I am a firefighter and the house I work at everyone smokes something so all we do when were not fighting fire is sit in some leather chairs around a table full of ashtrays out in the engine bay. I work 2 days and 2 nights a week and on the day works I will have one or two and the night works I will smoke about 5 depending on the size. I have a feeling when the weather turns next month and I start golfing, fishing and barbecuing this hobby is going to burn a hole in my pocket unless I find a quality cigar that doesn't hurt the wallet. I'm sure I'll find one after looking over this forum though.

Haha, that is exactly what I was going to post. Joining this forum was certainly a step in the right (wrong?) direction. I went from a single 100ct humi to a wine cooler full of boxes within a few months of joining here.

Couple things to chew on-
Instead of a new humidor- How about a coolerdor? There's instructions everywhere on here, and even if you do a google search, you'll find some great info on it. Economical, works better then most humidors I've seen, and there's tons of room in 'em!

Not sure of your personal tastes- But try anything from Oliva(I personally recommend the O Serie Robusto if you can get your hands on it.) Even Flor de Oliva's are great, at around 45 bucks a bundle! Also, Tatuaje Series P are great. 100 bucks a box. Beauties.

Well.. I smoke whenever time provides for it. With the devil site and all, I've come to find I need to smoke heavily to keep room coming in for the new residents of the coolerdor. Perhaps I should now invest in a third??
