I was just wondering what everyone does with their Cigar bands.

I know personally I save them and staple them to a cork board to display.

Re: What do you do with your Bands?

I know I've saved almost all my bands since I started smoking way back in September/October. I don't know what I'm going to do with them yet, But I do have some rememorable memories with them when I go through the bands.

Squid® has a huge collection of them... I create various types of cigar lighters using them... See Inbox.com Photo Viewer for pictures...

Re: What do you do with your Bands?

If it's the first time I've smoked a cigar with that band, I save it. Otherwise, I toss it.

Re: What do you do with your Bands?

I started a tasting notes book and I place every cigar of consequence in there. If its a JLP that I smoked and written about before and I am just putzing around while I smoke it then I toss it in a tin I have.

Squid, those are pretty cool.

As far as the bands, I've been saving them... I'm considering doing a picture or table collage, just haven't decided.

I put the new labels of a line that i smoked for the first time in a photo album and the rest I keep in a box to do something with them someday.

Re: What do you do with your Bands?

I collect 'em, kinda like stamps. Even have a few duplicates. I also scan 'em and keep the images on my computer as well as add 'em to the on-line gallery at http://www.stogiefresh.com/cigar_bands_pages/Non_Cuban/.

Re: What do you do with your Bands?

I've been saving them to maybe one day adorn the top of a cigar related end table or coffee table, under some laquer or something.

I keep the ones I smoke on my front porch in a BIG pickle jar.

Here is one jar I have almost full....

To make it easy I use this book

The Cigar Dossier - Cigar Dossier

Find it was easier and more professional looking then anything I did before plus nice hard cover for years of logging in smokes.
