Is Tampahumidor.com a valid company??

I placed an order with them recently for a box of Padron 4000's at $20 less than the cheapest I could find. I got an e-mail confirmation but a few days later I still haven't received a shipping confirmation like I get from every other company I order from (ie. Holts, Cigarsinternational, Atlanticcigar, etc). So I e-mailed them early this morning and I figured I'd give them a call now that it's late afternoon only to find that both numbers don't work. It goes right to a kind of disconnected line busy signal tone. I've tried the 800 number and the local number. This is frustrating cause now I'm wondering what's going on. My credit card was indeed charged and I've read some good comments on this company even here on this site. But to think I can't even contact someone is pretty unnnerving. Can anyone here verify if they've successfully ordered from Tampahumidor.com? Thanks in advance!

They're legit, I've made quite a few orders with them, includding a box of Padron 2000 a few weeks ago. I don't think they send conformation emails

Awesome, thanks for the feedback Sikk! I actually just tried again and this time I got through. It weird cause all the calls I tried before the 800 number came back as some weird error like "unable to connect" and the local numbers went to a fast pulsing busy signal. But now I got through fine and the guy confirmed my order shipping.

Guess there was just a temporary problem with their phone lines. Thanks again!

Chances are they use some sort of digital phone service like Vonage or something through their local cable company. That's one of the dirty little secrets of Voice Over IP: when there's a router or server problem, you're screwed.

I buy from them on a regular basis. The service has been excellent. I watch for free shipping deals to combine with their good prices on the Padron 3000s which is my go to smoke.

One plus is they pack with a humidity pillow.

I've had very nice experiences with them. Shipping has been prompt, a friendly knowledge person on the other end of the line, FREE shipping on singles. I have used them to try new cigars because they really have a nice selection of singles, and their staff have been most helpful.

I've been a huge fan of TampaHumidor for the last few years. They are a great company with some great cigars and and humidors as well. I have always been treated with great CS and hope to one day be there in person.

They definitely seem to have the best prices I've come across! I ordered a box of Padron 4000's for $126 and got 5 more for $10 extra. Nowhere else had the price that low and the extra 5 for $10 is an awesome deal! Guess that's why I was a little concerned. Sure did seem a bit too good to be true :-) But the guy I talked to was very kind and helpful.

I guess I never realized how lucky I am to be right down the street from these guys.One of the perks of living in Tampa I guess.Cigar culture rules out here.
