Tar build up?

Heya,

Was trying out my new Natural Twig (cigarillo's) by Drew Estate. They were pretty good. Just near the last part it was kind of hard to draw, had a sort of sappy tar build up. Got on my fingers and was sort of browny orange. Is this normal?

Yup.

I started a little bit before it burned the sweet part. So I don't think it was the sweetener burned up.

Re: Tar build up?

It is tar build up, has nothing to do with it being infused or having a sweet tip. I did a review of a Oliva Serie V Maduro this past weekend and it had tar build up bad. Check out the review Oliva Serie V Maduro Especial Review I have pictures of it.

Re: Tar build up?

This is a problem I have seen in some machine mades, especially those with the tiny hole in the head. The tar builds up and runs out. Cigarillos, I don't know, but it seems that it is normal in some varieties.

Re: Tar build up?

It happens occasionally, with small RG smokes smoke as slowly as you can.

Re: Tar build up?

I've had this happen before and usually clipping another 1/4" off the end fixes the problem.
