Was just wondering though. WTF? $750.00 a stick? That would make Bill Gates cringe. What makes a cigar worth $750.00? Is like the tobacco watered with Cristal Champagne grown under 24/7/365 sunlight on the Moon and then rolled on the thighs of Marissa Miller in wraps from pages ripped out of the first bible written by Jesus Christ himself? Or is it just another 90ish rated cigar, but with a high price tag for for bragging rights of "worlds most expensive cigar"? Okay maybe I went a bit overboard. But what is the deal?

Not sure, I only heard of them the other day. When I heard the price I thought it was incorrect. Looked it up and sure enough.

They are infused with Louis XIII Cognac which is about $1800 a bottle..

Seams silly to me.. I'll never try one, and I'm sure it's a complete waste of money..like most Gurkha's.

That's the only reason they're so expensive, what you're paying for is the cognac that's used to infuse the cigar, not the tobacco itself. It would be interesting to see if anyone has had one. No way that A SINGLE of these would equal 2 BOXES of Padron 1926 #2.

Liquor infused cigars do not taste good. I tried it with the cognac and the experience was not delightful.

I prefer all of my cigars infused with a healthy does of search function. I find the search function deeply enhances both the flavor profile and my overall understanding of the cigar.

I know someone that got two of them for $4.75 off of Cigar.com because they screwed up and put it as an option in a create your own sampler.... They honored it. I was pretty impressed

I love me some Gurkhas, but not that much. That would blow my cigar budget for months. I'm a cheapskate. If I could get one for under $20, I'd try it, just for grins. Seems like a waste of rare cognac, actually. It's like real estate, "They ain't makin' no more of that stuff."

It does seem like a waste of good cognac. They'd both be better of not combined but enjoyed each for their own.

It IS a waste of good cognac. Some of the eaux-de-vie in that stuff are barrel-aged for 100 years...an MF-ing century. You don't just throw together a batch of that...
