HELP!need an opinion

I've been trying to find a Partagas 150 to try. I came across a site cigar5packs.com which claims to have Partagas 150's unbanded for a five pack deal of $55!

The story is they were going through a warehouse in the Dominican Republic and saw some cigars ageing in a corner,after checking the records they discovered they were Partages 150's that had not been banded yet....

If this is true it's the buy of a lifetime!I just saw a box on Thompsoncigars.com for $5,000! What is you guys opinions? Have you had any dealings with this site before? How authentic do you think this is?

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. 5 pk of 150's would be worth a lot more than that. Just happened to see some cigars aging in the corner? My personal take on it is no, I wouldn't pull the trigger on these.

Yah I wouldn't either. "After checking some records" doesn't hold water to me. "Checking some records" could mean "Hey Pablo, where did these come from?", "I dunno boss, hey, these may be some leftover super expensive cigars we forgot to ship!", "Heyyy, I think you're right Pablo, BAM. Partagas 150's!"

Sigh....yeah,you guys are probably right.If these really were Partagas 150's even if they were unbanded it stands to reason that they would simply band them and sell them at the premium price.

I guess my search for one will continue.Anyone wanna part with one?
