April Fool's....Argh my wife got me good.

So, my wife calls me this morning at around 7:15 at work and tells me our son called her and told her that the dog got into my humidor and that there are cigars all over the floor. We have a German Shorthaired Pointer and my humi is the size of a credenza (w 48" x h 30" x d 20") so it was believable. I have two compartments where one side is for my boxes and the other side is for my singles with 15 shelves. I calmly asked my wife which side did our dog open. She said she was not sure but she would call our son to ask. To make this more believable this past week our dog got into one of my hats (Cigar Live) and chew it to pieces. I kindly told her that the dog was going to be punished by staying in her crate all day. By that time i was not looking forward to coming home to see the damage. I was really trying to keep cool when she told me she was not going to have the dog crated all day because she just ate and drank water. By that time i was really getting very antsy and did not want to argue with her at work. Especially since I had lots of woork to do since I was out of the office last week and taking more time off next week. I was just about to hang up the phone when it finally dawned on me it was April fools. She got me good.

I couldn't help it! I gues it was more believable because I have never really played any April Fool's Day joke on him before plus the fact the dog has been getting into a lot of things and tearing them up lately.

Haha good one. I told the girlfriend that me and my coworker were going to get our ears pierced after work. lol.

The worst one I've heard was my friend whose sister called everyone in the family and told them that one of his brothers who is 17 and lives in NC got a girl pregnant. Apparently it was really believable because the guy has had various problems. Another sister heard the message and immediately bought a plane ticket and showed up in NC the same day, only to find out that it was a prank.
