Latest pick-ups and a scary moment

Ok the first picture are some pick-ups from my local b/m. Due to a beetle problem they have spent time in the freezer and fridge and now are resting comfortably in the recovery room(fridgedor). the second picture is the package from Cbid...Holy crap when I saw that box my heart skipped a beat. UPS really dropped the ball on this one..I made the driver wait till I opened it to inspect....I was disappointed at the way Cbid packaged the cigars. The 5'ers were loose in the box...Thankfully all the cigars were in great shape....dodged a bullet on that one....I sampled a Gurkha and a CAO Legend......Hmmm Hmmm Good....The Don Rafael's wrappers were a bit green and one smoked pretty rough. Guess they'll be aging for a bit...

Nice pick ups, I don't even use cbid because of the way the pack the merch.

Wow were they playing baseball with that box? I just got a Cbid shipment yesterday and all they did was toss the cigar boxes in another box and sealed it up! No beads, bubblewrap, paper notta nuthin zilch. thankfully all was well.

I think that is the Cusano Legend. Let me know how it is. I haven't tried that one yet and have been wanting to. I can't believe the packaging both you guys are talking about! With all my shipment from their they have been packaged beautifully. Air bags, peanuts packed, and wrapped in styrofoam.

Looks like the UPS guy played hockey with that thing!

You're right it's Cusano....Was just testing you guys(LOL)...Something didn't feel right when I was typing CAO...I tested one and it was really good. I might finally try to write a review on one if I can aget the balz and the brand right....

Holy crap, that box is mangled!

Actually, almost all my CI and Cbid shipments have been well packed. The only problem I've had is with cigars that aren't cello'd -- they sometimes toss them in a baggie together and they get banged up. With most 5-ers they are cello'd then shrink wrapped, that protects them pretty well.

Ive got another order (have i mentioned I have an addiction problem?)shipping out this week from Cbid. Hopefully they pack it better than the last one and with any luck UPS wont play hackysack in the warehouse with it!
