DE Java

My wife hasn't understood why I enjoy cigars and doesn't like the money I spend...She said to me the other day "don't you have enough"...Never....Anyway she says she enjoys the smell of most cigars I smoke because it reminds her of her grandfather in France...Well the other day I mention a great smelling and tasting cigar that I tried and how several of the guys on my squad smoke them regularly(Java),,, well holy crap she asked me the other day to get her a Java to smoke at our neighbors house the next weekend I'm off.....I don't know whether to be excited or worried that my finances are gonna get even worse if she gets the bug....Maybe the ole is finally coming around

Re: DE Java

My wife loves the Isla Del Sol's. They are made by DE and are a milder sweeter cigar that is coffee infused like the Java's. IMO I like the Isla's better myself. The Java taste like coffee with pepper in it to me.

Isla del sol is good. I like Natural by Drew Estate best. Lightly sweetened tip, hard to notice anything infused in the smoke. Haven't tried a Java yet.

As far as I understand the Natural line is not infused at all. It is the blend of the tobaccos that gives it that taste.

Kick, this is a good thing...I think. You want her to associate cigar with good. Spend more money on cigar=good. This is the first step. Busting out a little Pavlov here! Don't tell her I said that.

BTW I got those Islas. Sometime I'll get you one.

Certainly doesn't taste infused, has a good flavor too it. I've heard that it was infused though.

Depends "what" you infuse with though. I enjoy natural flavors like coffee, mocha, espresso, woody flavors, nutty flavors, wine, etc. If they add something perfumey or unnatural then I strongly dislike it. I don't really like ACID cigars, they too artificial for me. And of course flavors like Phillies, they add artificial fruit flavoring and other stuff to the tobacco.

I wonder how a beer infused cigar would taste? Haha.

Re: DE Java

Get her to try the Isle del Sol. They are a lot cheaper. That will help your finances a little or give you more money to buy your sticks with.
