Drew Estate Acid Larrs Teton Question

Back in the cigar boom days of the 1990s Drew Estate produced cigars for or with an eccentric named Larrs Teton.

They sold under the Teton name and one of them was called 'grass' because, most appropriately, it smelled like pot and cost about the same. The smallest of the 'grass' line looked like a turd, tasted like old newspaper and cost $16-20.

But it smelled great.

Can anyone tell me if Drew Estate/Acid has a cigar in their line that has this pot-aroma.

David

Re: Drew Estate Acid Larrs Teton Question

Lars Tetens cigars are still available today. I ordered a bunch and didn't really like them, except for maybe the golf line, which was OK. Problem with the maybe two places on the web that sells them is that they either have bad service (i.e. it took 6 months for them to ship a package I ordered), or they say they have them in stock then you order them and find out half of what's on their site is gone.
I dont think any of Jonathan's cigars taste like Tetens, but I havent tried them all.

I use to smoke a tone of these when I first got into the hobby. Drew Estate never made them. They are made by Lars Letens himself. Lars Tetens. You are 100% right about the service and availability. They NEVER had certain cigars in and it always took a long time to get the order. But they would make it up to you by throwing in a bunch of free cigars and other products that he sells(chocolate, spices, candies). The one cigar I really liked which was NON-infused was the DaGars, but they never have them.
