Not a bad cigar for the money. A little mild for me though....

They are really decent for the price, well, pre-SCHIP price. I have not gone to the B&M to see how the prices changed on them yet. They used to be $1.65/stick.. I got quite a few on 3/31..

Re: Flor de Olivia Naturals

I really like the FdO Naturals. I usually have both the torpedo and robusto sizes. Been threw a few bundles of each and have really enjoyed them. Id like to try the Maduro and Corojo ones.

These are great starter smokes and a good bang for the buck in the mild range! Nice choice

Re: Flor de Olivia Naturals

I've had the originals, gold and maduro. Originally my preference was the original. After several bundles and about six months of age, I'm leaning more towards the golds, and the maduro. I still think they are all a decent value smoke.

I love the gold but I haven't had one in years. No shop in my area carries them and I don't smoke enough to buy a bundle.

Great bargain smoke, IMHO. Love them on the golf course.

Re: Flor de Olivia Naturals

Well I just smoked one. It obviously needs to chill in the humi for a while being as it was dry and slightly cracking. The ash was very loose and flaky. The draw was way to easy but I am sure all of this is do to it needing some rest. Now the flavor. Started of a bit strong and peppery. After a good inch and a half it mellowed out into a light sweet mild tobacco flavor. I didn't really pick up any other flavors than that. With some rest and the price I paid($1.20/stick) these are a great deal. Really enjoyed it once it mellow out.

Re: Flor de Olivia Naturals

I picked up a bundle on Cbid a couple of weeks ago. Ther one of my son's favorites so I'm bringing them along when we visit. I still have a few in my humi and they seem to get better with age. Good value I agree.

I got a bundle of 25 Toro's off cbid. I'm letting them rest for a bit, but I am interested in seeing how these are. I just might smoke one this weekend, and see how time benefits these.

Thats my goal. Smoke one now then test them as they age as see if they get better.
