Vinotemp and beetles
This is a quote from a compehensive sticky thread compiled nicely by Munkey.
"Will a VT stop the dreaded Beetle infestation? No......You probably reduce Beetle Risk with a VT, but you’ll find people that report Beetles at less than 70 degrees. " If people believe that to be the case, then why bother getting a vinotemp? That isn't logical. Has anyone among us really experienced a beatle hatch at 70 degrees or less? Please help me to get an understanding of this. Thanks a lot, Dafiddla Reference; Vinotemp 101

Re: Vinotemp and beetles
For me I believe it will greatly reduce the risk of an infestation because the Vinotemp will do a better job at keeping your temp and RH levels at a consistent level without having to have your whole house catered to these ideal conditions. You still have to be diligent when you add new stock. Not to mention it looks a hell of a lot better than my coolers!
