Ok so I'm sitting at work, in my car, and I decide to smoke this new(to me) cigar(Helix Torpedo)..I'm having trouble with my Colibri light and I was getting frustrated....I finally got her lit and reach down to put my lighter away..When I went to have my first post light draw I prompty put the, now, fully lit foot dead on the tip of my tongue....Damn that craps hurts....Guess when I'm done with it I'll mash it out on my balz for good measure....Ok you can stop laughing at me now.....

I've done it once (Too much to drink) in the 16+ years I've been smoking cigars. Luckily, I had a good ash going and did not get burned. I do remember the taste being terrible though!

I'm sure most of us have done that at least once in our time spent smoking cigars,,,but only a few will admit it. I did it two weeks ago while washing my car and put it down for one second and then reached for it not realizing that I just put my cigar assssh first into my mouth,,,and it had a big ole ash on it. I was not only spitting mad,,I was spitting period. I quickly looked around to see if anyone had seen this,,thankfully, I didn't see anyone or hear any laughing. Consider this a confessional booth and my confession.

Feels like a damn laser! I've done this (ONCE), too. At a party and borrowed this damn Colibri bullet-shaped lighter. Pretty much looked the same on both ends. ZAP!

yup exact same thing that happened to her, looked the same both ends. Burnt a small hole into her skin.

Back when I smoked cigarettes, I definitely lit 2 or 3 backwards - ie, lit the filter and took a drag or two before realizing. Now that can't be good for you!

Oh dang, that sucks! I've started to do that going towards my mouth and at the last second I felt the heat on my lips. It was a close call. As far as I understand the tongue is the fastest healing part of the body, not that it helps much!

It's actually feeling better...I'll definately pay better attention to which end I smoke from now on.....

I have not yet done that...(knock on wood) but I have seen it happen. I was in mid puff when I saw it and I about died from laughing.
