Just wondering, has anyone tried these?

COUNTERFEIT CUBANS TORPEDO EMS

They look great. They say that they are close to the real thing as you can get without it being the real thing. My father had one and said it was pretty good. They are made by Perdomo, and I enjoy the quality of their smokes.

Edit: Awesome wrong forums. Never go AFK for 20 minutes and come back and post without checking which forum you were last viewing haha. Can a mod please move this?

Remember learning about Upmann's in history class haha. JFK put the Cuban Embargo up, and made a guy working for him go around collecting all the H. Upmann cuban cigars he could find. Was like 1,500 cigars I think.

Do those companies actually make em? Or does JR make em to taste like those brands? They are hella cheap!

I'm not 100% sure who makes them but I think if you click on a cigar it will tell you what it is made of
filler
wraper

Re: COUNTERFEIT CUBANS (the brand)

The counterfeit cubans are pretty good. The Edicion Limitada are great. Nice full body, spicy. The reg counterfeits are medium bodied, semi spicy.

Re: COUNTERFEIT CUBANS (the brand)

The Counterfeit Cubans are a decent smoke. Better can be had for the same money. I found them (5-6 years ago) to have a very tight draw. If I have to give myself a headache to smoke a cigar I tend to pass.

Depending on what you want in a smoke you can almost certainly get more bang for your buck by going with the JR Edicion Limitada Cuban Alts. Those are quality sticks.

The other JR Alts are hit or miss. Again depending on what you like. The Rocky Edge Alts are quite good.

Thanks for the opinion. Might check those out. Can't seem to find the Edicion Limitada on JR's website.

Hi Warren,

I decided to try your recommendation and purchased a 20 cigar bundle. I've smoked 2 so far and really like them. Nice easy draw and burn very even. They're a good inexpensive cigar that I'll be smoking rather than the Macunudo Hyde Parks. Thanks.
