Newbies consensus.....

Well after a few hundred dollars on the testing phase of being a newbie, I finally can give my top 10 smokes so far.

Let it be known, that I have not tried them all by any stretch of the imaginiation, but have tried most of the well known brands and all have been long filler, hand made smokes. Even a Padron!!!!!

What I have found is that I prefer a medium bodied, complex cigar in a non-maduro, Robusto size. Gee, how origional huh...LOL

Here it goes...

- ROCKY PATEL VINTAGE 1992
- MONTE CRISTO CLASSIC BROWN BAND
- LA GLORIA CUBANA
- ROCKY PATEL VINTAGE 1990
- LA PERLA HABANA BLACK PEARL MORADO
- ASHTON CABINET
- ROMEO Y JULIETA RESERVA REAL
- LA FLOR DOMINICANA DOUBLE LIGERO
- CUSANO 59 RARE CAMAROON
- CARLOS TORANO EXODUS 1959 GOLD

Yes I know these are all fairly expensive for a newbie, but will save you all the time and money to start here.........

I do have a couple favorite 2 dollar sticks, that I smoke daily and buy by the box now....

These are easily as good as any 5 dollar smoke regardless of rating or brand. Both are mild to medium and are best in a Robusto.

- SF Dominican Gold
- Thompsons Belmondo connecticut

Thanks.

A........

Looks like a plan to me. Very good choices. I love several of those. Finally bought my first humidor and am stocking it with some of them.

Nice choice of cigars. if you like the RP '90 and '92, try the decade. It's one of my favorite RP cigars
