Got a box from CI the other day, it was packaged the same way, in a over sized box with just a couple air bags in it, way to much room. I'm gifting the box to somebody else so I am hope np damage, being a box there should not be. Another thing is how long it took them to get to me. I have used CI a few times before and they where pretty fast, this time UPS took over 5 days! They just need to ship everything U S Postal.

I second that on the USPS thing. They seem to be way faster these days and usually cost less.

I think we all worry about how things are shipped, but even though CBid usues minimal packaging.
I have never had any damage and their customer service is top notch.
So if anything were to come up, I feel comfindent they would take care of any damaged product.

I have been lucky with my last couple of shipments. There have been damaged to the shipping box's but not my sticks. Plus shipping for me from PA is usually 1-2 days. Thursday shipping i receive on Mondays, This means that my packages sit in a trailer Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and part of Monday w/o any humidification means. It would be nice if Cbid could move thier once a week shipping to the begining of the week, say Monday-Wednesday, or let you select.

my whole issue with it is that i believe in getting what you pay for.....if shipping was only 3 bucks i would expect crap shipping...but when im charged 10.95 for my shipping i want somthin more than half azz!

Okay so I just defending CBid and then I get my shippment of Camacho 10 stick sampler this week in a small box and one airbag. Not wrapped in bubble wrap or sandwiched between two airbags just cellophaned wrapped together and then an airbag on top of them. I guess no worries about the bottom of the box. I mean that must be made of still or the whole box of some crumple/damage proof material. ...I am confused why the packaging has changed so much. I cant image they are saving alot.

Yeah mine ship out thursday and dont get to me till wednesday!! I really wish they would use USPS. Or at least give you a choice. Whats strange is ive ordered bike parts from the same distance on wednesdays or thursdays and I have them by monday using UPS! So whats the deal?

That is crazy all of my cigar.com stuff I get in two days in SW Florida from USPS. Last time I called to place an order the guy was surprised I got it so fast. They have always had good packing and quick shipping. I have not ordered from Cbid yet and this thread will make me hesitate to do sol.
