Re: Gurkha Micro Batch Cigars?

Ok jsut added that to my shooping list. I think it is great whenever sites put large samplers together. Really gives people a chance to try all a brand has to offer. Thank you for the link

Re: Gurkha Micro Batch Cigars?

i started a thread on these a few weeks ago and it didnt last long....people seemed to be upset that gurkha blended yet another cigar...or in this case like 5! I to this day have never tried a Gurkha and I have like 6 in my humi! Ive heard some pretty mixed reviews on them.

Yes, the one I posted has that Micro Batch IN IT! but it also has another 10 cigar in it as well! TWO DIFFERENT BUNDLES together! Micro Batch + Top Ten samplers. Save you like $15.00 on each I believe.

Re: Gurkha Micro Batch Cigars?

The only Gurkhas I have smoked were gifts given to me that had been sitting in a humidor for years. So far uniless I get them from my local shop I am not to keen on buying them online. I have a fear of being shipped a knockoff but being charged the same price for the real thing.

The Micro-Batch Sampler is another name for the Small-Batch Sampler, and it contains regular Gurkha cigars. The Micro-Batch cigar is a new cigar just out by Gurkha. As odd as it sounds, there are no Micro-Batch cigars in the Micro-Batch Sampler. If you buy the Doppleganger sampler expected to get to try the new Liga you will be disappointed. The Doppleganger is all existing cigars and has none of the new ones.

Re: Gurkha Micro Batch Cigars?

I'm intrigued by the Lancero, since they've never done one before. I just placed an order, so it will probably be next month before I order again, but I plan to put a 5-pack on it, just to see if they pulled it off.

My current personal "fad" has been an almost-obsession with coronas, and it's annoying to me how many companies totally shun this vitola. There are several who may have 1-2 petite coronas, and completely skip the corona size. Don't get me wrong, it's not the only size I like, just my favorite. I'll happily spark up a robusto, toro, or a big ol' fat Gurkha perfecto, and enjoy the Hell out of them, but at some point during the smoke I'll think to myself, "I wonder how this would taste in a corona?" That's just me, though. It could just be a passing fancy that I will get over in six months or a year. You never know.

Re: Gurkha Micro Batch Cigars?

I changed my mind. I've really been wanting to try those Relics, so when they popped up on the Jambalaya just now, I was coerced by space aliens to order them, and since I was placing an order anyway, I put the Gurkha Lanceros on there, too.

Yeah, I'm weak. So what?

Re: Gurkha Micro Batch Cigars?

I have all four of the micro-batch brands due in the mail tomarrow so when I get to smoke them I will try maybe to put a short review up
In general I don't like Gurkha's, they are WAY too expensive and all have a sort of musty bland taste that is way to weak for what I like. I thought id try the micro batches though because they are a little cheaper and look interesting.

I am with you on the corona size!!

I while back I did a WTT/WTB for lanceros and coronas. I have been interested in the new Gurkha Lancero. Please leave a review after you get them!!
