Bought a five pack in the toro size from Famous Smoke about a month ago. Cant tell you any specific flavor profiles but I do remember thinking at the time that they compared quite favorably with the Fuente and Rocky Patels sungrowns.Since then I have seen a vitola in the botela shape that looks really interesting.I would reccomend them, especially if you could get them in a sampler or five pack.FrankB

Re: Cusano LXI Habano Sun Grown

I've only had one that had about 3 mos. of aging on it. Here is a brief desrciption of what I thought.

"This cigar had a great burn and draw w/ plenty of smoke. It opened w/ a good amt of spice (pepper) w/ a slight cedar, woodsy style base flavors. The finish lingered w/ a hint of spice. This was med bodied w/ a med/full flavor. The last quarter was a little tough but I would have another one."

Hope this helps.

Re: Cusano LXI Habano Sun Grown

I haven't had the LXI Habano Sun Grown but have had others in that line. I enjoyed the Cusano 18 series and usually have some in the humi, well worth trying in my mind if you haven't had any.

I am not sure how long they have been out. I picked up one after meeting Mike in the DR at Gene Arganese's house when I went to tour the factory last June.

I have been meaning to smoke it but always keep forgetting.

Re: Cusano LXI Habano Sun Grown

I tried one a while back, thinking it was the replacement for the DSG. It doesn't taste much like the DSG but I remember it being alright. I wish Mike would release the DSG again because I thought that cigar was really good
