5Vegas Classic, Gold and Series A can be had on cbid for 40$ a box on a regular basis

and Super Premium Seconds are pretty much a Punch Maduro Rothschild and are 30$ for 25

excellent smokes for the price!

Yep, but call the order in with Barb. Way faster than ordering on website. If you get some, stash some away for about a year, they become even better. Which reminds me, I need to order more I'm out.

if you need some more mild sticks, Argyle at Holts is pretty decent stick 30/$35 (monster deal)

If you want something strong, Brahmas 20/$20. I got mine almost 3 years ago at twice the price. If the ones now are the same cigars, they are still very stout after all this time.

Tropical flavor for a song Connecticut Crazy 10/$8.

However the best going for under $2.00 IMO are:

LHO Lights at Holts. I have series I and series II, but I don't have the current LHO lights. 20/$40 and getting great reviews.

Top Shelf Reserve Especial 25/$45 from Top Shelf cigars. I have a few bundles on the way. Haven't had the latest batch but they are getting strong reviews. I've liked what I had in the past, and by all accounts the latest version is very good. Another Tropical cigar

My goto cheapo is anything by Quorum...I love their torpedo($34/25) or the robusto($26/25)...

My goto cheap stick that I really enjoy is the Nestor Box Pressed Torpedo Mauduro. Usually can be had for around $1-$1.50/stick.

Don't write off "The official" TXMatt's cheap smokes thread.
I found a lot of good information in his thread. Some of the prices may have changed a little but most of the smokes on that thread are still available. It started 2 years ago but a lot of the posts are more recent. It covers a broader price range and I personally would like to see more posts on it. I started this thread for some fresh discussion on good smokes for less than $2. Although I enjoy more expensive cigars, most of what I smoke is $2 or less. Since starting this thread I've already done a trade. I've also added a couple of things to my to try list. If you've got that under $2 favorite post it wherever you like. I will see it. If you got something more expensive that applies to Matts thread post it there. I'd like to read about it.
