Tatuaje request for information

Since joining this forum I have read a lot of good comments on the Tatuaje line of cigars.I have never tried this brand but would like to.

Could some of you who are fans of them let me know what your favorite type/size/series is and a good on line location to get them at a good price?

Thanks!

There are so many good ones. My favorites are the J21, Black and RC184 and the Ambose Mundo, Cabaiguan, and Noella are a good entry level Tats.

Re: Tatuaje request for information

They can be pricey one of the first Tatuaje's I smoked was the Tatuaje Havana VI Noble (Robusto) its the one with the solid red band on it...

Scored these from a Cigar.com deal a few days ago.. $4 a stick.. hard to pass up at that price

100% agreed. This is a great tatuaje to try. You can always try the p series as well. They are a bit cheaper

Thanks guys,If I can get a great cigar for $4 I will buy a truck load of these things.I have a top shelf in my humidor of $10-$40 sticks and if these can even come close to those i'll be happy.I have been forever trying to find a decent every day stick to smoke with a decent price tag.I have found a few that are good but never anything I can just smoke every day and love for a price I can afford.

Thanks for the info,i'll try you guys suggestions.

Re: Tatuaje request for information

I found a nice 4 pack sampler here Tatuaje Robustos Sampler Regio, Robustos Extra, Reserva J21, Nobles, P2

Which includes Tatuaje Robustos Sampler Regio, Robustos Extra, Reserva J21, Nobles, P2
for $41 at newhavanacigars.com

After reading about the j21 and the P series they seemed to be just what I like in a cigar and they are a decent price.I'll give a review once I get them.

Re: Tatuaje request for information

The P series is just like the Havana VI except it is a MIXED filler. If I were you Id spring the extra $40 and get the premium longfillers and get the Havana VI's. But thats just me. But get them from Dan and NHC at my civilian job I literally work right around the corner from his place and have stopped in there on several occaisions.. he is an awesome guy and really cares about his product and customer service

Re: Tatuaje request for information

$4 a stick is a great deal. You will not find a better $4 cigar.

If cost is less of a consideration, you have to go with the cabinet, or "brown label". The Reserva J21 (robusto) gets great respect on these boards--and it deserves it--but my favorite Tatuaje is probably the Cojonu 2003, followed by the Reserva SW (churchill), RC-184 (a monster salomone... but surprisingly medium-bodied), and Havana Cazadores. I was luck enough to have a BOTL gift me a "Black"... I hate to say it, but it didn't live up to the hype.

I'm going to sound like a schill here, but the best online selection--bar none--is New Havana Cigars (mentioned in this thread). I've been a regular customer and they receive top grades for shipping and customer service (great packaging, prompt response). Prices aren't noticably lower than some other online vendors, but NHC is the only place I'll buy Tatuajes. The Hunter Sampler isn't cheap, but it gives a great introduction to the line.

Enjoy--Tatuaje has quickly become my favorite NC brand--and it's rolled in the USA, to boot! (How ironic that the most 'Cuban-esque' cigar on the market is rolled in... oh, never mind).

I got in on the same sampler. Boy did it disappear off the website quick. I should have gone with the 3 five packs as I am kicking myself now. I got them in the mail yesterday and had 1 after dinner. I am not an expert on expressing the tastes of a cigar yet, but it had a peppery taste that I definitely liked. My wife tried it as well and thought the same thing. Well worth $4/stick. I will buy them out if it comes up again...

I love seeing more and more Tatuaje converts. Welcome to the dark side fellas!

Now you have to start tracking down the Frank, the black, etc...

Re: Tatuaje request for information

Im trying to convert BACK to tatuaje's.. i smoked a few.. loved them.. bought a box of duds.. then swore them off.. until i stumbled upon that cigar.com daily deal that I just couldnt pass up so I figured I would give them a second chance, oh and i guess that box of cabaiguan robustos extras that i scored off of Cbid for $133 counts as Tatuaje also I suppose
