Tips for Buying and Selling on Puff

Hey gents,
I am interested in getting started in the next tier of involvement here at puff and I had a question regarding payment. What is the best way to set up payment when you are selling cigars through the forum? (If there is a thread on this, forgive my weak search)
Any other tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

Most members will state what they want as far as payment in their thread. Some request payment through P..P.. or Money Orders and some will accept Personal Checks. It's up to you.

My suggestion to members is to have someone like yourself, who has little or no Trader History, send their items first. This is just a precaution that's suggested when making a transaction.

Also become familiar with the thread stickies in the WTS forums, and post all Sales/Trades, in these forums.

I don't know how the whole ****** thing works and would be interested in more info on that, but thanks for your advice on shipping before payment. When I do trade here, I want to establish trust with other members. Thanks.

I do agree with Blaylock, on someone without trader feedback or even a low number, I prefer to have them fulfill their obligation first, cause it's all on trust here, and we're all dealing with our favorite hobby.

To use Pay Pal, type it in on google (no space between pay and pal--it becomes ****** instead here), go there, set up an acct; you can transfer money b/w ppl with email addresses who have accts there from credit/debit or straight from your bank acct. They charge a mild fee to the recipient; and also, DO NOT MENTION TOBACCO OR CIGARS OR PIPES in "what are you paying for" when it asks--they'll freeze your acct and act like assholes to you.

Not from, but residing now in Huntington WV. Moved here with my wife last summer from Amherst, MA. She is in med school and I teach at Marshall.

Ah, more Marshall....haha, it's all WVU and Marshall up here ain't it? I didn't have anyone to celebrate with in Logan when my TarHeels won the championship! What do you teach?
