A nice rainy day @ Holts in Phila.
Raining today all day here in New Jersey. Cant sit on the porch to smoke, what to do? A freind and I took a road trip to Philadelphia to Holts Cigar store on Walnut St. Picked up A Rocky Patel EdgeTorpedo, a Fuente Cannones a Camacho Triple Maduro 11/18, and a couple Olivia Series V Figurados, and 4 God of Fire Carlito Robustos.
It was raining so hard we decided to go into the lounge and have a smoke before leaving. Had a really good time... smoked the Olivia, had coffee, and talked with a number of BOTL. Spent an enjoyable two and a half hours, and met some very cool peeps. On the way out, I broke down, and bought a Xikar cigar cutter. All in all a very good day!

I sit in my garage to smoke on rainy days, but your trip sounds like the perfect alternative.

Sweet, sounds like you had a good time! Holts rocks, never been there but am a very happy online ordering customer. I live in Jersey too but have my orders shipped to my job in Manhattan and the orders always arrive the day after shipment. At first time doing business with them I felt it a little strange they don't send out a tracking number or anything, but if it arrives a day later who cares!
Just had their Old Henry Maduro and was amazed at how good it was. Writing a short review in a few minutes. Rev. |
