If I can smoke a robusto, toro, or churchill and get a draw like I would with a cigarette then I'm happy.

Re: What draw do you prefer?

When I first started smoking I perfered an easy draw. Now I really like a good medium draw with a slight resistance. I have had a couple with a tight draw and by the time I'm finished smoking it my jaw hurts.

I like a nice medium draw, a little on the firm side.

Re: What draw do you prefer?

I prefer a easy draw. The less I have to pull the better. Also when I get to the last third of the stick it is easier to control a smoke with an easy draw, and get a cool mouth full of smoke without getting the cigar hot. However in the end, if I can get enough smoke to taste/enjoy, then I am allright with it.

Re: What draw do you prefer?

I prefer a firm draw. To me, a wide open draw indicates a dry, or underfilled cigar. I quit smoking Camachos for this reason, to me they are just chronically underfilled.

Re: What draw do you prefer?

I like a more medium draw. I hate tight draws where I feel like in going to pop my lung just trying to get anything, nor do I like real easy open draws as they tend to be a pain when they get shorter.

Its the first thing that comes to mind as when it gets down to the nub I have to put them down if I am playing poker or dealing cards.

Re: What draw do you prefer?

A nice medium drawing cigar is for me. Too loose and the cigar has a tendency to tunnel and get hot at the nub. Too tight and as the tars collect it only gets harder to draw. I want to enjoy my cigar and not have to overwork the cheek muscles to do it. It just ruins the experience.

Re: What draw do you prefer?

I like a medium to easy draw. There is so much more flavor and enjoyment with a more full draw. Padrons and C.A.O Brazilia's usually supply the sort of draw that I enjoy.

Re: What draw do you prefer?

I prefer a cigar that has a medium to tight draw to start and loosens up as it nears nub. That last third of the smoke has by far the most flavour.

I agree that a cigar with a loose draw seems cheap and under packed.

Re: What draw do you prefer?

I prefer a medium draw, the kind that requires a short light puff and then a longer puff to get a nice mouthfull of smoke.
However, if I am smoking an easy drawing cigar I just take notice of it and change my puffing.

Re: What draw do you prefer?

I like a slightly firm draw if I can get a good amount of smoke out of it. My favorite sticks are rolled really tight and solid but still have a nice draw. I had a garage gar the other day that was so loose it was unpleasant. They also run hot as I smoke them too fast sometimes. For me it should offer some resistance.

Re: What draw do you prefer?

I guess I am with the majority on this one, a tight draw is just not any fun at all. I want to be able to feel like I am drawing on something, having to work just a tiny bit to get that wonderfull smoke into my mouth.
