I've set up my laptop to run the cigar database I've made. Basically, it's a Ruby on Rails application that lets you keep track of what cigar is in what humidor, cigar age, and so on. Some folks might remember its debut back on Club Stogie.
The app is running onn my laptop, and so might not be the quickest thing in the world if I'm watching a movie, but my bandwidth is very good so network speed shouldn't be a problem. Anyway, if you guys'd like to check it out and provide feedback, I'd be much obliged. You can create an account and log on at:

As always, I'm just some dude off the internet. While I promise that I won't steal your passwords, send you spam mail, or kick your dog, it's always a good idea to use a NEW password for such matters.
If I can wrangle a RoR host to run this app, I'd like to make it available on a permanent basis. However, it's running off my home computer at the moment, and as such will go down when I have the computer in the office and so on. Don't worry, though - your records will stick around (unless, of course, you delete your account).
I do ask that you don't Digg/StumbleUpon/whatever this post - I'd like to make the program better, but too many people (both legitimate users and malicious users) could be a problem both for me and for the university's network infrastructure.
