EPC La Gloria/General Cigar split?
I heard a rumor that General Cigar has dropped LGC. No idea if there is any truth to this, but the rumor goes that EP-C is looking for another house to produce the Dominican line. The Miami project will continue, but what could this mean for my beloved Serie R?

The contract between Ernesto and General Cigar expired. General retains the right to La Gloria/Rico Habano. I believe Ernesto is doing his own thing again (with is son) and and should have a new line out this summer.

Haven't heard anything about General no longer making LGC. But a month or two ago Ernesto decided to go his own way with his kids helping out.

This part of the article JDC posted (thanks for the link) says that:

From the customer's standpoint, I am guessing that this means no changes in the LGC cigars.
