Cabinet Project

As some of you know my father and I are going to build a cabinet in the next few months. Well after drawing up some plans the last few days we made a trip to the local Lowes and picked up some hardware. Below is the hardware we picked out. My Dads parents are coming in for mothers day tomorrow and my grandfater, dad, and myself are going back to pick out the wood, as my Grandfather is quite the woodworker. All of this is my birthday present for this year. My birthday is June 5th so hopefully we can have some of it done by then. I'll will keep this thread updated with pics of the progress. Maybe tomorrow I'll have some more pics of some PROGRESS

The knob and handle are both satin nickel

Thanks, I wanted it to look clean but very sharp. I'm real picky when it comes to stuff like that, lol

Re: Cabinet Project

That's a pretty cool family project. I wish my Dad lived close enough that we could do something like this.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Cheers!!

Re: Cabinet Project

That's the exact same hardware as is on the cabinets in my bathroom and I love it, looks good with so many woods and finishes. Hope construction goes smoothly.

Re: Cabinet Project

Update: My Grandfather, Dad, and I spent the day going over the plans and drawings, picked out the wood, and are planning to go Evansville (Grandparents Home) sometime in the next few weeks to begin building. I'll keep you updated. Right now the wood were using is 3/4'' Oak Plywood and I believe 1/4" Honduran Mahogany. Should look beautiful when completed. Can't wait!
