Problems with Tampa Humidor?

Sent an email to them yesterday. Still no response...

Basically, ordered some singles and they came literally soaked. I dunno if too much water was put into the pillow or what but they are all unsmokable. The Punch Champion i ordered actually burst at the bottom (yes, moreso than it should be). Anyways, just wondering if anyone else has had issues with them? I've ordered from them before and the sticks were a bit wet but not like this...

I have never had an issue with them. Once they get back to you they should take care of it. They are a stand up company

Ditto this. I have been ordering from TampaHumidor for years and they are always very good with Customer Service.

Re: Problems with Tampa Humidor?

I only ordered one and everything was excellent. On another note though, not sure why any company shipping within the US actually uses water pillows, it's really not necessary. Cigars will not go bone dry if put in ziplock (or other type of sealed) bags. Most packages make their destination in under a week. I doubt they'd go dry even without being in a sealed bag.

Re: Problems with Tampa Humidor?

I received my order today. The cigars seem to be of a normal humidity. However, they shorted me a Carlos Torano maduro Robusto. Not to good for a first time customer. The business I worked for previously had the truck loader, checker, and the manager check every first time customer's order and sign off on it. Three checks.

Re: Problems with Tampa Humidor?

Wow, I'm surprised at these comments. I've never had a problem. Everything was tip top perfect. They are great stand up people. They will make it right. Call them. Pictures never hurt either. Let us know how it all turns out.

Re: Problems with Tampa Humidor?

I've only ordered from them once but it was a VERY good experience! Everyone I know who uses them raves about them almost as much as New Havana Cigars. So all I can say is that this must be a fluke. I'd call CS again, let them know that you are a very unhappy first time customer and you'd like your cigar...maybe they'll even give you something else for the trouble (I would).
