Cigar Dreams

Dreams about cigars, we've all had them. I had my third one last night, a nightmare, and it was enough for me to get up and check the humidor to make sure everything was still okay.

The horror started with me having a barbecue in my backyard, a nice friendly get together with friends, nothing troubling afoot. My dream self thought: It would be awesome to have a cigar right now (My subconscious and I are pretty tight ). I venture to my humidor, and begin screaming.

MY STOGIES ARE SOAKED! Not wet, or moist, but soaked. This dream was so realistic, I could smell the dampness and when I moved my hand past the humidor I could feel the dampness. My Cuban shelf is on the top, and I tried picking one up, my dream self thinking this must be some horrible dream. The stogie collapsed, and aside from brown tobacco stained water, thousands of bugs came out.

I now cut to the backyard again, and now my humidor is on the garden table next to me. my friends come over to the humidor and begin eating the stogies, taking big bite out of them. I know they're ruined, but I say why the hell not and decide to try biting them (My subconscious and I, despite being close, still have some issues. Like most married couples do). I spit out the cigar because it tastes awful, and realize my entire collection is un-salvagable. Wake up screaming, I did.

I woke up, went to the humidor and ensured all was right in my cigar world.

So fellow cigar enthusiasts, have you had any cigar focused dreams or nightmares?

Great story, sorry you had to have that nightmare. I do have dreams about smoking cigars but no nightmares yet.

Ha dreams about cigars. Yea, I've had them but not about smoking them. I had one where I noticed a bunch of Habanos at my local shop and then asked about them and was then given them for free for whatever reason. Waking up was not fun lol

I can not help but laugh! haha wow. I've always had weird and crazy dreams ever since I can remember. If I had a dream like that, it would rank up there! I've had a few dreams about stogies though, unfortunately I can not remember them!

The only dreams I have had were good ones, such as finding free cigars or having the best cigar ever.

If I had a dream like that, I'd go to jail! I'm 24 years old....that about sum's that one up!

Good story....bad nightmare. Not sure if I should thank you or tell you I am sorry. I am surprised that I have not had any cigar dreams yet being as 90% of the day I am thinking about cigars. The other 10% I am sleeping.

I can't remeber 90% of my dreams, but normally the ones I do are bad ones, or dreams of dead people (parents). But no bad dreams of cigars

If you do dream of them guys, pray hard you don't get a nightmare.

For normal dreams I'm normally on the surreal side of things, so that might be why I had such a bad one. I could relate a good cigar dream, but it isn't much: I once dreamed that a local bar allowed smoking in it, and that they also sold cigars at a decent price and good selection. It was pleasant. That is all.

phil thats disturbing... im about to go to bed and now im a little bugged... as soon as im done typing this im gonna go check my dor and make sure the key is close to me when i lay down...
