question about vendors.

I would like some recommendations on US vendors that ship internationally. I only know a couple and I am curious if there are better deals out there. Please PM me if it’s inappropriate to ask this question. Thanks.

Re: question about vendors.

Iv'e actually encountered those links when I did a search. Unfortunately most of them ( even cigarsinternational) don't ship to Canada. Others have ridiculous prices while others want me to pay all taxes upfront. Thanks anyway.

Re: question about vendors.

Tell you what Pepito, I've offered this to other BOTLs before, and I'll do it again. Once you get your trader rating to 2 positive, and a RG of 20 or more, I'll be more than happy to have all your orders shipped to me, and I will ship them to you, marked as collectibles, which seems to have worked before. Granted, you'll pay a little more in shipping (usually $5-$10 to have it shipped to me, and then another $15 or so to have it shipped from me to you), but if you make a big enough order at once, that will more than cancel out the outrageous taxes you would have paid, had you purchased in canada.

This is just an option, and if you ever want to do it, just drop me a PM, I'll tell you where to have the smokes sent, and you tell me where to send em to. Don't worry, I'm not out to steal the smokes you have shipped to me, just ask anyone. Except pnoon. Or galaga. Or IHT. Or Da Klugs. Or SeanGAR. Or SlimDiesel. Or Suburbahick. Or Blueface. Those guys don't like me. So ask someone else.

Re: question about vendors.

Your issue in Canada has more to do with what happens when Customs sees a box with cigars on the customs declaration.

They take you into a small room.

They bend you over.

Words like "duty", "GST", "PST" and "HST" are whispered as you are hit with a bill that is more than triple your original cost of the cigars.

Some smaller retailers can be more discreet than the big boys .. you might ask around .
