Best looking aluminum tube?

I'm thinking of buying a tubos (aluminum tubed) cigar so that I can use the tube afterwards as a short-trip travel case. I'd prefer something in maybe a churchill size, but could make do with a corona.

Of course, having the cigar be good is a must, but I'd also like to end up with a pretty tube.

Any aluminum tubed gars that impressed you both with the quality of the cigar and the artwork on the tube?

Todd

They're incredibly expensive, which is why I can't vouch for their flavor, but the La Aurora Preferido tubes are stunning, especially the Sapphire. Probably not suitable for your purposes, but based solely on appearance, they're just WOW!

I agree, the La Aurora Preferido Tubos look great, the cigars are good too. But the tube is worthless, I'm sure if you just do a little extra looking, you'll be able to find some tubes cheap online or at your local shop.

Yea, those look awesome, but since they are so specifically shaped I think they'd not be a good choice for reusability.

The Perdomo ESV Cameroon comes in a very nice tube, it's about a 5.5" robusto type size. Most Cuban tubos I've seen have a nice twist-off cap.

I'm personally looking forward to the Tatuaje Black and Tatuaje Verocu tubos that are coming out later this year.

Re: Best looking aluminum tube?

If you can get your hands on any of the new CC tubes, they are really nice, the RyJ Churchill tubo is what I use as a travel tube.

Cheers
